5 Sets New Daytime Lineup

5 in the U.K. has unveiled a daytime lineup for 2026—reaffirming its commitment to live programming—that includes a new talk show from ITN Productions.

5’s expands output with ITN Productions includes a talk show fronted by Matt Allwright. It will air Mondays to Thursdays from 12:50 p.m. to 2 p.m., with episodes available to stream on 5 following their linear transmission.

Storm Huntley is back with a late-morning show alongside new co-host, Alexis Conran. The new Storm and Alexis show which will air from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Jeremy Vine will continue in his regular slot. Vanessa Feltz caps off the daytime schedule with a revamped, viewer-focused show. 5 has seen strong live and digital gains for its daytime schedule.

Federico Ruiz, commissioning editor at 5, said, “We are thrilled at next year’s daytime lineup on 5. We’ve put together a presenting family that our viewers love, and we’re excited to give them more of what they want. Where others are cutting back their daytime offerings, we are ramping up. There is no substitute for live TV, and our viewers can now stay with the 5 family from their morning tea, through lunch, to school pick up—where they’ll be by far the most informed people at the gates.”

Ian Rumsey, managing director of content at ITN, noted, “I’m delighted that our partnership with 5 goes from strength to strength. We’re proud to be entrusted with making more daytime content for them by making shows with their own identities, and the common theme of putting viewers opinions first.”
