Sphere Abacus landed deals for more than 150 hours of content across Asia after attending Asia TV Forum this month.
The outfit was represented at the event by Pooja Nirmal Kant, co-founder and CEO of Still Road Media, its sales agent for the region.
The deals include Now TV in Hong Kong taking Doubters To Believers: Liverpool FC—Klopp’s Era, Gunpowder Siege, Harrods: The Rise and Fall of a British Institution, What Really Happened? American Independence, Escape from Kabul, This is Joan Collins, King of Lies: Football’s Greatest Con and Leaving Neverland and Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson, among others.
Also in Hong Kong, HK Television Entertainment Company bought Travels with Agatha Christie & Sir David Suchet, Alan Cumming’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys: Scotland, Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, and Billy and Dom Eat the World, among other series and specials.
In Thailand, Sphere Abacus landed a deal with Brite Now for a slate that includes Operation: Sharklift, How Not To Get Cancer, A Mild Touch Of Cancer and more.
Mediacorp in Singapore opted for Life in Colour with David Attenborough and Antarctica From Above.
CNC Media in South Korea took the second season of Top Guns: Inside the RAF, while AK Entertainment chose Special Forces: Most Daring Missions and Kate Humble’s Coastal Britain.
In a pan-Asian deal, ROCK Networks landed titles such as Alan Cumming’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys: Scotland, Barbie Uncovered: A Dream House Divided, Fantastic Friends and The Masked Singer seasons six and seven.
Other deals were secured with Alliance Media Group in China, Phoenix Satellite, Edu TV channel in Mongolia and Warner Bros. Discovery.
