JioStar’s K. Aravamudhan and Media Partners Asia’s Vivek Couto have been elected to the board of the Asia Video Industry Association (AVIA).
Aravamudhan is EVP of public policy and legal at JioStar, while Couto is the co-founder, CEO and executive director at MPA.
Aravamudhan and Couto succeed former board members Agnes Rozario, from Astro, and Greg Armshaw, previously with Brightcove.
The trade association has also reelected to its board Pubmatic’s Emily Yri, TVB’s Desmond Chan, Disney’s Joe Welch and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Shonali Bedi.
