BBC Studios and CosmoBlue Media are partnering on linear channels and streaming across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and Türkiye.
The on-demand BBC Player will be integrated into CosmoBlue Media’s streaming service CosmoGO in Türkiye and across MENA. Further, the companies will cooperate on the distribution of BBC First, BBC Earth and CBeebies.
“This agreement delivers on our commitment across EMEA to pursue innovative partnerships that harness the full potential of our brands, premium content, and portfolio of linear and on-demand products,” said Arran Tindall, president for EMEA, global channels and streaming at BBC Studios. “It is a significant step in developing a greater business across Türkiye and the MENA region that enables our compelling content to reach and engage new audiences wherever they are and across all platforms.”
“This strategic collaboration reflects our shared belief in high-quality storytelling, cultural relevance, and platform innovation,” said Berk Uziyel, co-founder and group CEO at CosmoBlue Media.
Bartosz Witak, SVP and general manager for CEE and MENAT at BBC Studios, added: “At BBC Studios, we believe that our success is deeply intertwined with the success of our partners. This new collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence and innovation, and we are confident it will elevate the presence of our entertainment brands across the market. Through joint initiatives, we will broaden the scope of our activities and deepen audience engagement with our channels. All of this is driven by our enduring mission to inform, educate, and entertain—now with even greater impact.”
