KC Global Media has clinched a five-title co-production deal with Southeast Asian production house Rein Entertainment.
The deal marks an expansion of the creative pact between the two companies following the success of the six-part Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence. They are developing five co-pro titles for 2026 and 2027, beginning with Dose, an eight-episode series among those selected for the Producers’ Pitch at this year’s Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF).
“This slate marks an exciting new chapter in our partnership with Rein Entertainment, as we double down on bold, globally resonant storytelling from Asia,” said Bonnie Wiryani, VP for revenue and head of content sales at KC Global Media Distribution. “We are proud to champion talented creatives and provide a platform to showcase their stories. Rein Entertainment brings deep regional insight and a track record of powerful, socially relevant narratives, which align with KC Global Media’s strength in premium content curation and international distribution. With titles like Dose, we’re investing in character-driven originals that challenge genre conventions and spotlight powerful female leads. This series also presents opportunities to develop remakes, prequels and sequels.”
“We’re proud to expand our creative synergy with KC Global Media on this new slate,” added Lino S. Cayetano, president and CEO of Rein Entertainment. “Their vast international reach and expertise in elevating Asian stories for global platforms make them an ideal partner. Together, we look forward to creating more content that reflects the dynamic voices and visions emerging from the region, and we’re thrilled to bring them to international audiences.”
