MIP London is set to return from February 22 to 24, with 250 buyers confirmed to date and an agenda targeted at digital creators, producers, platforms, distributors, buyers, and brands.
“MIP London’s first edition successfully drew more international buyers, distributors, producers, and therefore more opportunities, to what has become such a key week in the international industry calendar in London.” said Lucy Smith, director of MIP London and MIPCOM Cannes. “For our second edition MIP LONDON goes beyond traditional television by joining the dots with the transformational digital side of the business including creators, brands, microdramas, podcasting, and of course the dominant subject on everyone’s agenda, AI.”
The market returns with a new format, including a new buyer-focused Sunday and an increase emphasis on matchmaking every day. There will also be screenings, showcases and an insight-driven conference agenda. Brand-new for next year is the upgraded Hosted Buyer Programme, delivering curated, pre-scheduled meetings.
IET London will play host to the main program and market, while The Savoy can be used for summits, roundtables, matchmaking sessions and social mixers. Keynotes and panels will be delivered under the banner of Joining The Dots: Finding The Value,
MIP London will also host a Kids Summit on February 24.
