NATPE is not moving forward with a Budapest market in 2026, opting to focus instead on the continued development of its Miami show.
In a statement, Brunico CEO Russell Goldstein said the move reflects the broader shifts in the global entertainment business, noting, “with the continued proliferation of industry markets in Europe, we’ve decided to focus on North America, where we can create scale.”
Claire Macdonald, executive director at NATPE, added, “For the past three years we’ve deeply appreciated the CEE’s support for this market. We are proud of the programs we’ve been able to produce in collaboration with our industry partners and hope to continue those relationships as we focus on NATPE Global. I would like to acknowledge our deep gratitude to the advisory board members who have shared so much of their passion for the region and industry with us.”
NATPE Global runs in Miami from February 4 to 6.
