Netflix is slated to premiere the romance anime series Love Through a Prism, written by Yoko Kamio, the creator of Boys Over Flowers, in January.
Premiering January 15, 2026, the series is set in early-1900s London, following a Japanese art student who finds herself in the same orbit as a talented young aristocrat.
Animated by WIT Studio, the 20-episode series is directed by Kazuto Nakazawa (B: The Beginning, Kill Bill: Volume 1 anime sequence). The voice cast includes Atsumi Tanezaki and Koki Uchiyama.
“This is the story of Lili, who blazes through her time with love, courage, and romance,” said Kamio. “In our society, where it is becoming difficult to talk about hopes and dreams, and where common things we take for granted are fading away, I hope this series can be a light for those who watch it.”
