Combate Global is working with popular digital-led comedy and urban culture outlet Foos Gone Wild on an amateur MMA fight series.
Foos Gone Wild (FGW), created by Lil Mr. E, creates original digital content, live events, and branded merchandise inspired by comedy and Latino culture. It has a multiplatform fan base of 4.5 million people and is looking to expand its reach across scripted and unscripted television, film, animation, and graphic novels.
The first of four Foos Fighting Championship events with Combate Global kicks off later this month with a live broadcast in Spanish on the EstrellaTV network and in English on the Foos Gone Wild YouTube channel.
Combate Global CEO and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) co-founder Campbell McLaren commented, “Like any form of show business, fighting is personality-driven, and this new fun amateur fight series will definitely have a lot of personality, guaranteed.”
