Nick Crowe has been tapped to fill the newly created head of development role at Cineflix-backed C3 Media in Montreal, the outfit behind such productions as In Cold Water: The Shelter Bay Mystery and Vice to Proud Boys.
Reporting to Michael Kronish, the president of C3 Media, Crowe joins from Blue Ant Studios, where he was senior director of unscripted operations and strategy. At C3, he is tasked with expanding the company’s original unscripted slate, aligning with execs and talent in Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. for new properties. He will also work with the wider C3 team to identify existing IP opportunities for content across broadcast and digital platforms.
Kronish said: “Nick is a highly experienced development executive who has been responsible for more than 400 hours of high-profile content, including long-running hit brands, for networks across North America. We are delighted to welcome him to the C3 Media team as we build on a successful year and continue to expand our slate.”
Crowe added: “C3 Media had a growing reputation for working in partnership with creatives, broadcasters, and streamers across Canada and beyond to deliver a wide range of high-quality series and feature documentaries. I’m excited to be joining Michael, Pablo, and the team at an exciting time and contributing to building the business further.”
