Dori Media lands at the LA Screenings with a new doc series, Seekers, exploring ancient healing traditions, sacred ceremonies, and personal journeys through the lens of both well-known personalities and everyday individuals.
Created and directed by Gio Israel, the series features insights from Édgar Ramírez, Riley Keough, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, among others, over its six episodes, filmed across four continents.
Nadav Palti, Dori Media’s CEO, says Seekers is “a truly unique documentary series that attained unprecedented access to global communities and many rituals that had never before been captured on film. We will be showcasing Seekers for the first time at LA Screenings alongside our many other scripted and unscripted offerings.”
Israel added, “We’re living through a mental health crisis, but beneath it, I believe there’s something even deeper, a crisis of meaning, belonging, and human connection. “We’ve built extraordinary systems, faster technology, smarter machines, bigger economies, yet many of us are quietly forgetting how to grieve, how to listen, how to sit with uncertainty, how to belong. Seekers was born from a simple question: what happens when modern lives meet ancient wisdom?”
The producers of Seekers committed 11% of revenues directly back to frontline communities, including contributing to the building a preschool in rural Zimbabwe and providing medical support in the Amazon.
