Korean production companies with compelling format ideas will have the opportunity to pitch those concepts to executives from FOX Entertainment and a panel of global buyers at Broadcast Worldwide 2026 (BCWW), taking place in Seoul in September.
BCWW is hosted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and co-organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and Coex. It is partnering with FOX Entertainment for the BCWW x FOX K-Format Showcase, which is open to eligible Korean production companies with new unscripted format ideas. Selected participants will be able to pitch their ideas at the session, hosted by FOX Television Network’s unscripted EVP Sophie Leonard and SVP Sam Stacey. Winning companies will also receive follow-up discussions with FOX, including the potential for joint format development.
FOX has fared well with Korean-originated formats, adapting MBC’s King of Mask Singer and Mnet’s I Can See Your Voice.
“Korea continues to be one of the world’s most exciting sources of original unscripted ideas, consistently creating formats that reach and engage audiences across cultures,” said Leonard. “At FOX, we’re always looking for bold concepts with creative ambition and the potential to travel globally, and we’re excited to partner with BCWW to discover the next generation of standout K-formats and bring them to audiences around the world.”
Companies wishing to participate can submit their application forms and required documents showcase@bcww.kr by Monday, August 24.
