Working with Goliath and Perfect Game, Keller/Noll is developing a game-show format inspired by the classic board game Sequence.
Celebrity Sequence reimagines the Goliath board game as a studio competition with a $100,000 cash prize up for grabs. The set will feature 16 massive cards, polling questions, and celebrity aides. Goliath and Keller/Noll have also been developing Shark Bite as a format.
“Celebrity Sequence is part Match Game, part Family Feud—and all Sequence,” said Dave Noll. “The board game has that rare mix of simplicity, strategy, and instant replayability. Our job is to honor what people already love about it, then blow it up into a big, funny, celebrity-fueled television format.”
Brian Weiss, Goliath’s president for North America and global brand, referred to Sequence as “one of those rare games that just never gets old. For 45 years, it’s been bringing families and friends together because it’s incredibly easy to learn, fun to play, and you immediately want to play again. That’s what makes a truly great game. We’re incredibly proud of what Sequence has become, and even more excited about where we can take it next as we introduce the brand to a whole new generation of players around the world.”
Sequence has sold more than 50 million units in over 100 countries. Perfect Game, the IP-driven media company formed by Corey Rogers (formerly of All3Media America) and Ross Greenberg (ex-Studio Ramsay and Cineflix), holds the exclusive global media rights to Goliath’s most popular games.
