To mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the U.S., National Geographic has unveiled an interactive video archive featuring never-before-seen footage and eyewitness testimony.
The immersive digital experience features more than 100 hours of video footage, including 20-plus never-before-seen hours originally filmed for National Geographic’s acclaimed 9/11: One Day in America and 9/11 Reunited docuseries, produced by 72 Films. Nat Geo recently premiered 9/11 Reunited, created with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and 72 Films. All three episodes are now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. It also delivers interviews with 65-plus contributors. The collection of 500 video clips is sorted by time, topic, and location.

As a brand of record, it is an honor to bring a significant amount of this material together for the first time and to tell the story of 9/11 in a way that only National Geographic can.”
National Geographic has also published a companion digital feature by 9/11 historian and author Garrett M. Graff that dives into the 17 minutes between the first and second plane impacts at the World Trade Center.
