Alisa Pomeroy has been promoted to head of unscripted at Channel 4, reporting to David Brindley, director of programs.
The broadcaster has restructured its commissioning team to bring together the documentary, factual entertainment, reality and entertainment, and specialist factual output. All will fall under Pomeroy’s remit.
Emma Hardy, head of commissioning operations, noted, “Alisa has been a fantastic colleague, creative and leader at Channel 4 for the past 11 years. We’re so looking forward to the next chapter in her expanded new role.”
Pomeroy added, “I’m delighted to take on this new role at a pivotal moment for Channel 4. Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of working on some of the Channel’s biggest shows alongside outstanding creatives. This expanded unscripted remit is an exciting opportunity to build on that experience, bring fresh ambition to our programming and champion bold, original ideas.
