Rachel Carson has joined Off the Fence as acquisitions executive, reporting to Loren Baxter, VP of acquisitions.
Formerly of eOne UK, Kartoon Studios, and Little Dot Studios, Carson joins OTF ahead of the London TV Screenings. The slate includes new titles such as Lion Mountain Media’s Mind of a Predator and Secret Ways of Wild Dogs (1 x 60’), plus a furter 34 hours from Lion Mountain TV’s natural history library. Other recent additions include WildEarth TV’s Growing Up Cat and Enderley Pictures’ Staged: Deadly Deceptions.
“I’m passionate about building impactful relationships and championing innovation across an evolving media landscape,” said Carson. “Acquiring thousands of hours for YouTube and FAST has given me a clear view of opportunities across both legacy and emerging models. With OTF’s strong catalogue and ambitious unscripted slate, this feels like the perfect next step.”
Baxter added, “Rachel came with high recommendations and I’m so pleased to have her join the Off the Fence family. Rachel comes to us with over ten years of experience in the TV distribution world, and with her more recent position as acquisitions executive at Little Dot Studios, we’re confident she’ll bring huge value to us as a group as we navigate our place under the World Storytelling Media banner.”
World Storytelling Media Group (WSMG) was launched last year to bring OTF and Insight TV under one banner.
