TGC GE Expands Slate, Seals Lighthouse Deals & Taps Agent for India

Phil Gurin’s TGC Global Entertainment is heading into London TV Screenings with its first two deals on NRK’s Code Red: The Lighthouse, an expanded slate with Cash Battle, and a new addition to its agent network with Sunita Uchil in India.

Code Red: The Lighthouse has landed options with Endemol Shine in Germany and ALP in France. The original, Kode Rød: Fyret in Norway, premieres this weekend on NRK.

Fabian Tobias, managing director at Endemol Shine Germany, said: “Code Red: The Lighthouse stood out because it delivers tension through concept and location, not through noise. The lighthouse setting is instantly iconic and naturally creates pressure and conflict—it’s a premium reality engine. That’s why we moved early, before the original had even launched. We see strong potential for a standout German adaptation.”

Adding to its LTVS lineup—its first official representation this year—is Cash Battle, which originated in Poland and recently wrapped season three on Polsat.

Katarzyna Burzawa, director of non-scripted and formats at the ATM Group, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with TGC Global Entertainment, format icon Phil Gurin, and veteran Cecilia Ingebrigtsen, who recognised the potential of Cash Battle. ATM Grupa has produced nearly 300 episodes with Polsat over the years, including four new seasons since the 2024 revival. The show has won two Golden Telekamera awards for Best Entertainment Format and Best Entertainment Host. We cannot wait to support the rest of the fantastic, experienced TGC GE team on the worldwide distribution of our great format.”

Meanwhile, Sunita Uchil, founder and CEO of Karman Unlimited, which she founded after a 15-year run at Zee, will now represent TGC GE’s formats in India and SAARC.

“As we approach the London screenings with our first ever official screening session, we are delighted to see the team firing on all fronts,” Gurin said. “Sales of our latest buzzy title Code Red are heating up, there is widespread renewed interest in our classic hit The Singing Bee, Cash Battle from Poland adds another exciting new format to our curated international slate, and the addition of Sunita to represent us in the world’s most populous country expands our global reach.”
