Asia TV Forum came to a close last week with 4,875 professionals in attendance from 60 countries, with co-production and microdrama among the defining themes of the four-day conference and market in Singapore.
The market attracted 977 buyers from across the region. According to ATF, 20% of attendees participated in co-production discussions. There were 22 pavilions on the show floor, including significant contingents from Japan, China, Turkey, France, India, and more.
“As we wrap up ATF 2025, we are inspired by the creativity and collaboration of dedicated industry players whose steadfast vision continues to position Asia as a thriving hub within the global entertainment ecosystem,” said Hui Leng Yeow, group project director at ATF. “Numerous deals and co-production projects now in production or at the final financing stage trace their early success back to ATF—reaffirming its role as a premier meeting point for global and regional players, fostering dynamic conversations, bold collaborations and strategic partnerships that drive the future of content to greater heights.”
In addition to a comprehensive panel and keynote lineup, the week included four in-development programs, with 39 concepts pitched to 47 commissioners and producers.
This was the 26th edition of the annual market, part of the Singapore Media Festival (SMF) hosted by Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA). It is due to return next year from December 1 to 4.
