Madgic Distribution has secured several new deals across the Asia Pacific, including sending Stories from the Backwood to China.
Shanghai Senyu Culture Media acquired Stories from the Backwood for distribution across China in a deal brokered by Midolala.
In Singapore, Mediacorp picked up Emerald and two seasons of Jade Armour. Emerald has also been acquired by ABC Australia.
“There continues to be a strong appetite across the APAC region for quality animation and we are delighted that Emerald is proving to be as much of a hit with buyers, as its companion series Isadora Moon,” said Lionel Marty, managing director of Madgic Distribution.
