CBBC is set to launch Strictly Pro Dance Off, featuring the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing delivering interactive dance tutorials.
In 7-minute episodes, a Strictly pro will deliver a tutorial to two fellow pros, who then go head-to-head performing the routine. It will air during CBBC’s Saturday Mash-Up!, lining up with themes from that night’s episode.
Sarah Muller, senior head of commissioning for BBC Children’s and Education 7+, said, “Strictly Pro Dance Off brings everything children love about Strictly into a short, energetic new format made especially for them. Viewers will see the professional dancers learning, teaching and getting competitive, while discovering more about the different styles and techniques that bring the ballroom to life.”
