Epic Storyworlds & Original Content Lab Partner on TVOkids Commission

Epic Storyworlds is working with Original Content Lab on Globe Bros, an animated kids’ series that has been greenlit by TVOkids, Knowledge Network, Radio-Canada, and TFO, with the participation of the Shaw Rocket Fund.

Co-created by Sean Connolly, CEO of Original Content Lab, and travel writer Heather Greenwood Davis, the 20×11-minute show is aimed at kids 6 to 9. It is inspired by Greenwood Davis’s own work chronicling her adventures with her husband and two young sons. In pre-production, it is slated for a Q1 2027 delivery. The series will be produced in Québec with Epic’s Loomi Animation and distributed globally by Epic Story Media.

“Heather and her family are truly inspiring and we hope this series encourages kids everywhere to be curious about exploring the world around them,” said Connolly. “Even if it’s just the next town, or province!”

Globe Bros reflects Epic Storyworlds’ vision for storytelling: it’s rooted in real human experience, filled with curiosity and humour, and designed to resonate with global audiences,” said Steve Couture, CEO of Epic Storyworlds.

“A proudly Canadian series, Globe Bros brings the whole world to kids right at home,” added Kirsten Hurd, commissioning editor of TVOkids. “Through exploration of new places and cultures, the series inspires curiosity and global awareness, blending learning with fun, humour, and heart.”
