Hasbro will launch a new series from the My Little Pony franchise on YouTube in early 2027.
My Little Pony: Forever Friendship builds on the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic legacy and promises a “fresh creative vision” for its digital-first audience. The rollout will see two 9-minute episodes drop on YouTube each week. Gretchen Mallorie is showrunner and head writer, and Tayhan Mustafa is series director, leading a new visual look for the beloved MLP universe. The series is developed in collaboration with Lil Critter Workshop and features key artistic contributions from illustrator Nicholas Kole.
“For over 40 years, My Little Pony has remained one of Hasbro’s most beloved and enduring franchises, connecting with generations of fans around the world through stories rooted in friendship, imagination and creativity,” said Kim Boyd, president of global licensing and entertainment at Hasbro. “With My Little Pony: Forever Friendship, we’re continuing to grow the brand through fresh storytelling, a visionary creative team and new entertainment experiences designed to inspire today’s audiences while staying true to the heart of what fans have always loved about My Little Pony.”
