Kids’ content producer A Productions has appointed Joanna Hepworth as creative director.
Hepworth will oversee and strengthen the studio’s creative vision across development, service work, and original content.
She has been with the outfit as a director since 2019. Her nearly two decades of experience in animation production have seen her work on titles such as Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy, and Sesame Street The Nutcracker for Sesame Workshop, and Pip and Posy Let’s Learn, produced by Magic Light Pictures for Sky Kids with animation services provided by A Productions.
“We will continue to take pride in creating authentic, imaginative content that our audiences will love, and we look forward to sharing some very special projects with them in the year ahead,” Hepworth said.
Katherine McQueen, managing director of A Productions, added, “With her extensive industry experience and creative talent, Joanna is a huge asset to A Productions, helping to ensure the future success of the studio.”
My Friend Maisy, co-produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions and Trustbridge Entertainment for Sky Kids, will feature animation created by A Productions and Karrot.
