Millimages has secured a commission from M6/Gulli for the upper preschool animated comedy Benny and the Bin Buddies and a development deal on Calypso.
Both series will be on the company’s MIPCOM slate. Benny and the Bin Buddies, now in production, is a CGI animated comedy created by Fabrice Ravier. Calypso, also developed with M6, is a 2D animated fantasy comedy adventure geared to the 6 to 11 set.
“It has been a pleasure to build this relationship with M6 over the years, and we’re delighted to see both Benny and the Bin Buddies and Calypso move forward,” said Bonnie Lener, producer at Millimages. “As we introduce the projects to the international market, we look forward to finding new partners and bringing them to audiences around the world.”
