Following the acquisition of Chilevisión last November, Grupo Vytal—led by Tomás Yankelevich, along with Jorge Carey and Edgar Spielmann—has closed an agreement with Latinoamericana de Redes y Comunicaciones to take control of Latina TV Peru.
“We are happy and excited to have finalized this agreement,” said Yankelevich, president of the group. “For years, we have been observing the evolution of Latina TV Peru and its achievements across various platforms. Through our experience in broadcast television and streaming, and having recently added Chilevisión to our portfolio, we want to boost Latina TV Peru by integrating new technologies to expand its massive reach, strengthen its leadership, and create content that enriches the lives of Peruvian families.”
Cayetana Aljovín, president of the board of Latina TV Peru, stated that she “is very satisfied to have the trajectory and experience of Grupo Vytal, which will guarantee the consolidation and internationalization of Latina TV Peru.”
The deal is expected to close in the next few months.
