NBC has added four series to its lineup for the 2026-2027 season, including a The Rockford Files reboot with David Boreanaz, with NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution handling sales.
The network has also added Line of Fire, a family drama with Peter Krause and Hope Davis; Newlyweds with real-life couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly; and Sunset P.I., a comedy from the executive producers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine. All are being distributed by NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution.
This fall also sees the introduction of a civilian version of The Traitors airing in a Thursday prime-time slot. The network is marking its 100th anniversary this year with a live three-hour variety special, plus The Americas: A Wild 250th from BBC Studios Natural History Unit in association with Universal Television Alternative Studio
NBC ends this season as the number one network in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo.
Returning fare includes the One Chicago franchise, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order, plus the comedies St. Denis Medical, Happy’s Place, and The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, and several formats, among them The Voice, Destination X, and Got Talent. No decision has yet been made for The Hunting Party.
