Netflix has commissioned podcasts from comedian Katt Williams and best-selling author Harlan Coben, among other personalities, and has also renewed its entire initial original podcast slate.
The podcasts from Williams—behind the recent Netflix special The Last Report—and Coben, who has penned several books that have been turned into original series at Netflix—are set to premiere later this year. Other new originals for Netflix are The Rotten Files with Stephanie Soo, Wishbone Kitchen with Meredith Hayden, Last Trace with Kaelyn Moore, and Couldn’t Agree Less with Allison & Isaac.
Further, Murder with My Husband, The Pete Davidson Show, Shut Up Evan, The Puzzle Room with David Kwong, and Allegedly with Ellison Barber are back for more episodes.
Netflix is also bringing The Pivot Podcast and Outlore with Eleanor Neale to the platform.
“Podcasts are a way for members to get more of the genres, stories, and personalities they love,” said Brandon Riegg, VP for nonfiction series at Netflix. “No matter where or when you want to listen or watch, we have a curated selection of podcasts representing the best of true crime, sports, comedy, food, and storytelling of every kind.”
