wedotv is touting a “significant investment” in properties for its wedotv sports FAST channel distributed in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, adding competitions from horse racing, sailing, golf, and more.
“We originally launched wedotv sports in DACH in 2023, and since that time, the channel has grown tenfold, proving that free sports content is in high demand,” said co-CEO Philipp Rotermund. “We are pleased to be able to renew our licensing agreements with our established partners, and also add some fast-growing sports to our program offering. Keeping our programming current and introducing sports fans to new and exciting sports from around the world is a top priority.”
The company has renewed its alliance with HBA Media, delivering a slate of live horse racing with the Crown Jewels Racing package. The deal also includes Cheltenham Festival, Qatar Goodwood Festival, Skybet Ebor Festival, and the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
The wedotv sports channel will also offer up the the Asian Tour, including the Saudi Open, the Jakarta International Championship, Philippine Open, New Zealand Open, and the International Series Japan. Audiences can also watch SailGP, Power Slap and Pro Bull Riding.
The channel is carried on Zattoo, Waipu.tv, LG Channels, Hotbird 13/E, Kabelio, Amazon, O2TV and the VIDAA Smart TV platform.
