Marcus Ammon, who most recently headed up Bavaria Fiction, has joined Construction Films as managing director.
With the move, Construction Films will be led by three MDs: Ammon, Veronica Ferres, the company’s founder, and Ralf Berchtold, previously CFO. From its Munich and L.A. bases, it focuses on the development and production of feature films and TV content. It worked with Netflix on The Unforgivable and RTL+ on Entführt—14 Tage Überleben.
“For many years, I have followed Veronica’s successful work as producer with the utmost respect,” Ammon said. “In addition to acting, producing has become a key part of her artistic work, both nationally and internationally. Being able to help shape Construction Film‘s development in terms of content and strategy alongside Veronica and Ralf fills me with great joy, but also with the necessary sense of responsibility for this exciting task.”
