Happy Accidents has landed deals with Disney+ in the U.K. and Ireland and AMC Global Media in Spain and Portugal for the Australian dramedy Gnomes.
The 6×30-minute series is a co-production with Australian production outfits Total Fiction and Screen Invaders, with original broadcasting partners Stan and ZDFneo. It stars Asa Butterfield and Megan Smart, with Holly A. Hines and Eric Jarboe as EPs for Happy Accidents. The series was created by Joel Kohn, founder of Screen Invaders, and is produced alongside John Molloy and Richard Kelly at Total Fiction. The show was commissioned by Stan in Australia and picked up by ZDFneo in Germany through ZDF Studios’ Network Movie. Happy Accidents is handling international distribution.
