Netflix has added to its Korean slate with the greenlight of Outback (w.t.), an adaptation of the G’Day webtoon.
The Australia-set show is created and executive produced by Han Jun-hee, who commented, “We wanted to use the unique strengths of the television medium to delve deeper into the characters’ emotions and dynamic relationships. Beyond the thrills of uncovering a mystery, we aimed to capture the fragile vulnerabilities, inner conflicts, and growth of youth caught in the crossfire.”
Jeon Du-gwan directs from a script by Park Hyun-woo. The cast includes Ryu Jun-yeol, Hong Kyung. HOYEON, Won Ji-an, and Justin H. Min.
