Sphere Media has entered into a strategic alliance with Canadian producer Paul Barbeau, through Fairmount Films, to attract more international scripted television productions to film in Quebec.
The partnership leverages Barbeau’s international network and production expertise and Sphere’s infrastructure, corporate resources, and production capabilities in the region. They will collaborate on identifying opportunities, developing service production proposals, and supporting international clients throughout the creative and production process. Business development efforts will be led by Barbeau, who will bring scripted television projects to Sphere. He will also serve as line producer on select projects, overseeing production logistics, budgets, and client relations. Corporate and administrative services required on each production will be delivered by Sphere. Quebec is the initial focus, but the alliance will be open to bringing projects to other Canadian provinces.
