The event miniseries Those Who Lived, about survivors of the Bataclan terrorist attack in Paris, has logged several international sales for Federation International.
From Oscar-winning director Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, the France Télévisions commission, presold to RTBF, aired on France 2 in time for the tenth anniversary of the 2015 attack. The eight-parter is headed to Movistar (Spain), Nos Lusomundo (Portugal), HOT (Israel), and Silver Box (CEI). These follow previous deals with HBO Max (France), Nova (Greece), SVT (Sweden), and RTS (Switzerland).
Those Who Lived is produced by What’s Up Films, Mizar Films, and NAC Films (Jérôme Corcos). It is the latest collaboration between Federation International, What’s Up Films, and de Lestrade after having previously worked together on Sambre, which is among the top three most exported French series in 2024.
