Sky Launches Multiview Innovation for Sports Coverage

New Sky functionality will let customers watch up to four Sky Sports events at once, launching in time for the new Premier League season.

The “Your Multiview” feature is Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q, delivering simultaneous coverage of a range of sporting events. Users can change the on-screen layout, select the audio they want to hear, and switch any event to full screen.

Sky will showcase more than 1,500 matches across the Premier League, Women’s Super League, EFL, and Scottish Premiership.

Carli Kerr, MD of Sky TV & NOW, said, “There’s more live sport for fans to enjoy than ever, and we want to make it as easy as possible to follow all the action. With ‘Your Multiview’, viewers no longer have to choose between the biggest moments happening across multiple channels. It could be two exciting football matches happening at the same time, or Super Sunday coinciding with a Grand Prix and the final day of a golf Major. Only on Sky can fans enjoy so much sport together on one screen and stay in control of what they watch. Along with scores, stats, and clips at the touch of a button, this is another way we’re making Sky the best place to watch live sport.”

Also new for Sky Sports this season is a Sports Hub for scores, stats, league tables, schedules, short-form clips and highlights on the side of the screen during matches. It is available anytime on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Football, and during selected live matches on other channels with Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q.

The new Sports Hub includes Clips, delivering scrollable short-form highlights. There’s also a refreshed Live Sports Rail, and Real Time is expanding to Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Premier League on Sky Glass and Sky Stream.

Sky Sports is available from £22 per month as an add-on to Essential TV or Ultimate TV on Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
