According to the British Film Institute (BFI), inward investment into the U.K.'s high-end TV sector rose by 5.3% in 2025, while film recorded a gain of almost 30%.

The British Film Commission and Italian Film Commissions have entered into a new MOU for collaboration between their respective screen industries.
