Tresor Productions, a division of Keshet International, has landed a first-look at all formats from the digital-first outfit Cowshed Collective Ventures for the German market.
Tresor will look to adapt existing Cowshed formats and will work with the company to co-develop new IP. Cowshed and Tresor will showcase entertainment-led solutions for brands and develop creator-led ideas.
Tresor is behind the German adaptation of First We Feast’s HOT ONES; the 20×30-minute local take landed on YouTube in the summer and has amassed more than 8 million views.
Axel Kühn, managing director at Tresor Productions, said, “We’ve learned so much from the experience of producing HOT ONES Germany, particularly when it comes to financing YouTube-first content, and we can’t wait to start working together with Cowshed on bringing innovative formats to German advertisers and viewers. As digital audiences continue to grow and the gap between the production values of digital formats and traditional TV shrinks, partnering with brands and influencers to adapt successful digital formats for German viewers is an attractive alternative route to production for us as a company.”
