MIPCOM Cannes Adds AI Forum to October Agenda

MIPCOM Cannes is introducing the MIP AI Entertainment Forum this October as the technology drives a “fundamental rewiring of how content will be created, financed, distributed, and monetized globally over the next decade,” says Lucy Smith.

The MIP AI Entertainment Forum aims to connect AI innovators with studios, streamers, producers, creators, brands, and IP owners to explore how it is being deployed across television, film, creator-led media, and vertical content. Confirmed partners include Versos AI and Protege, plus exhibitors HappyClient, Lingopal.AI, LoglineAI, and Massif Network.

Smith, director of MIPCOM Cannes, added, “MIPCOM Cannes 2026 will bring together the international entertainment community to engage with that transformation—not to theorize about it, but to build partnerships, strike deals, and define what comes next.”

The MIP AI Entertainment Forum will focus on three key areas: AI’s use in creation and storytelling, production and workflow, and licensing and monetization.

MIPCOM Cannes recently announced the launch of MIP BrandWorks, exploring branded entertainment, and is planning for a “significantly expanded” presence from the creator economy.
