GMA Network is working with Home2US Communications and FrontM to bring its GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV channels to commercial vessels across the globe.
Home2US Communications serves as the aggregator and distribution partner, with FrontM providing onboard services on commercial shipping fleets.
“This partnership honors Filipino seafarers who continue to make extraordinary contributions to global shipping despite the many challenges they face, including long periods away from home and their families,” said Joseph T. Francia, GMA Network’s first VP and head of international operations. “By bringing GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV on board vessels, we help them stay connected to home through stories that are proudly Filipino, as well as the latest news and entertainment wherever they sail.”
“In partnership with GMA Network and FrontM, we are proud to bring GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV to Filipino seafarers worldwide,” said Emrah Ozkhan, Home2US Communications’ founder, CEO, and president. “By combining our global broadcast and streaming capabilities with onboard technology, we are able to deliver licensed Filipino programming seamlessly, helping crews stay informed, entertained, and connected to home while at sea.”
“Our focus is on creating an onboard viewing experience that is live, shared, and meaningful for crews,” said Venkatesh Ramakrishnan, FrontM’s lead product manager. “Through this partnership, FrontM’s onboard technology platform helps bring trusted GMA content to vessels worldwide in a way that supports connection, routine, and everyday life at sea.”
