Content distribution and channel operations specialist ODMedia has expanded its alliance with CINDIE, a platform delivering films and series across Latin America, to include YouTube and streaming channels.
With the expanded deal, ODMedia will support the development and day-to-day management of CINDIE’s YouTube channels, including channel setup, content delivery, metadata and rights management, audience optimization and monetization. The company will also help scale CINDIE’s Spanish- and Brazilian Portuguese-language FAST and AVOD feeds, available across LatAm on platforms such as Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, V, Plex and Roku, among others. ODMedia will develop complementary YouTube and Prime Video Channels strategies for the slate, working alongside CINDIE’s existing FAST technology-provider relationships. With CINDIE’s Prime Video Channels activities in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Colombia, ODMedia will provide aggregation, media preparation, localization, delivery and operational support. ODMedia will also support CINDIE’s planned launch on Prime Video Channels in Argentina later this year.
“CINDIE has built a strong multiplatform business around independent film and scripted content for clearly defined audiences,” said Sjef Pijnenburg, founder of ODMedia. “Our role is to provide the operational scale behind that business, from channel management and localization to platform delivery, optimization, and monetization. By expanding our work across YouTube, FAST and Prime Video Channels, we can support CINDIE’s growth in its established Latin American markets and across the U.S. Hispanic market.”
“Getting a title onto a platform is only the first step,” said Maurice van Sabben, CEO of CINDIE. “Building and retaining an audience requires consistent operational discipline. ODMedia brings the systems, platform expertise and day-to-day execution needed to move beyond one-off deliveries. That gives us a scalable model we can apply across our Latin American and U.S. Hispanic footprint.”
