BET Unveils Creator Studio

BET has launched a dedicated hub to foster relationships with digital content creators, launching with its first original series, The Jason Lee Show, on April 8 on its website and official YouTube channel.

The media entrepreneur’s weekly show features conversations with celebrity guests. “I’ve been in rooms most people will never get into and now I’m bringing audiences with me,” said Lee. “This show isn’t just about entertainment. It’s about the power of culture: how it’s built, how it’s kept, and how it’s used. BET gives us the platform to tell that story at the scale it deserves.”

Billed as a “creative engine for Black voices,” BET Creator Studio pairs emerging and established talent with BET’s scale and reach to deliver podcasts, digital series, short-form content, and social-first campaigns.

“Black creators have always driven culture, now we’re giving them the infrastructure to own it,” said Orchid Richardson, SVP of digital and social at BET. “The BET Creator Studio is where authentic storytelling meets serious distribution, and that combination is incredibly powerful.”
