BET has aligned with aTwist (formerly known as MicroCo) to enter the microdrama space, with the two companies producing original series for multiple platforms, including long-form episodic content for cable distribution and vertical short-form for the aTwist platform.

BET has launched a dedicated hub to foster relationships with digital content creators, launching with its first original series, The Jason Lee Show, on April 8 on its website and official YouTube channel.

Music executive, film producer, director, and actor Damon Dash will host candid conversations with friends and peers in a new series for BET.
