COL Group is working with BeLive Holdings on a turnkey solution that enables companies to easily build and scale microdrama platforms.
The Microdrama in a Box solution will be a key priority for COL and BeLive at the upcoming FILMART in Hong Kong. It will leverage BeLive’s enterprise microdrama delivery platform, Yeon Studios, and COL’s fast-growing library of short-form content to deliver an end-to-end technology and content solution. Per the two companies, clients can deploy fully branded, market-ready microdrama platforms within 30 days. It is targeted at telcos, OTT services, apps, broadcasters, and digital publishers.
The solution delivers a content slate, along with built-in gamification and reward systems, enabling advertising and hybrid subscription monetization. The solution also provides for multi-language AI subtitling and optional commerce integration.
“This is a powerful combination of technology and content at exactly the right time,” said Timothy Oh, GM of COL Group International. “Microdrama has already proven its engagement and monetization strength in the U.S. and China. By packaging enterprise-grade SaaS with the world’s largest microdrama catalogue as one integrated solution, we’re removing operational complexity for our partners. They can focus on brand positioning and go-to-market execution, while we handle the content curation, platform optimisation, and infrastructure behind the scenes.”
Latif Sim, executive director of BeLive Holdings, added, “This partnership with COL Group is more
than about launching a product. It’s about launching a new model for the story economy. Together, we are turning microdrama from platform-dependent content into owned, scalable infrastructure.”
