Peacock subscribers have access to a new portfolio of mobile games, including one from Wolf Games that promises hidden-object gameplay and microdrama-style narratives.
Billed as its first serialized episodic game, the ten-part Public Eye is playable now within the Peacock mobile app alongside a batch of new IP-based titles: Law & Order: Clue Hunter, Jeopardy! TODAY, and Wheel of Fortune TODAY.
“Public Eye sits right at the intersection of two trends users are excited about: microdramas and interactive storytelling,” said John Jelley, SVP of product UX and design at NBCUniversal Media Group. “This new experience invites fans to step into the story rather than simply watch it unfold. Through our work with Wolf Games, we’re exploring how Peacock can bring together video, gameplay, and storytelling in a single destination, creating more opportunities for audiences to engage with the worlds they love throughout the day.”
“Public Eye was built to be incredibly easy to step into,” said Elliot Wolf, co-founder of Wolf Games. “Within seconds you’re spotting clues, meeting characters, and feeling a high-stakes story come together under your fingers. It’s a new world of crime and betrayal that keeps you on the edge of your seat and coming back episode after episode. Immersive and cinematic, but as easy to pick up as your morning puzzle.”
NBCUniversal has a broader relationship with Wolf Games to expand premium storytelling into interactive formats by using AI technology and human storytelling. According to NBCUniversal, 40% of Peacock mobile users engaged with a game in the app last month.
Wolf Games was cofounded by Elliot Wolf (son of prolific showrunner Dick Wolf), Andrew Adashek, and Noah Rosenberg. In October, it completed a $9 million Series A funding round led by Main Street Advisors with participation from Maverick Carter and Tom Werner, Rashid Johnson, and returning investors Dick Wolf, Jimmy Iovine, and Paul Wachter.
