A fireside chat with Matthieu Thollin, COO of Mediawan International, and a slate of premieres are among the highlights of Seriesly Berlin this September.
Seriesly Berlin Premieres kicks off September 13 with the first three episodes of JOSSI, a German-Czech dramedy from creator Dimitrij Schaad with Jannik Schümann and Nilam Farooq, produced by Odeon Fiction for SWR and ARTE. In total, Seriesly Berlin will feature 13 new series, including the Disney+/Hulu German original City of Blood, HBO Max’s Clangold, Sweden’s Burden of Justice, the Swiss drama The Angel Maker and the U.K.’s Film Club.
Thollin will take part in a fireside chat at the event as the European major marks its tenth anniversary.
Seriesly Creators, the portion of the conference focused on creator IP, will spotlight Splash House in a session presented by Henrik Wittmann, director of LEONINE C_ at LEONINE Studios and Laura Caciauna, and feature insights from Kai Fischer, head of Constantin Creators at Constantin Entertainment.
Seriesly Berlin is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. It returns for its third edition from September 14 to 17.
