BBC One and iPlayer are set to deliver a one-hour doc from BBC Studios Events about Queen Elizabeth II, marking what would have been her 100th birthday.
Queen Elizabeth II: Her Story, Our Century charts the legacy of Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, exploring the story of modern Britain through the prism of her life. It will feature insights from Dame Helen Mirren, Barack Obama, Sir David Attenborough, Dame Sheila Hancock, and HM Queen Camilla, among others.
Catherine Catton, head of factual entertainment and events, remarked, “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Story, Our Century explores the life of her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II through the lens of a century of change and offers an important reflection on how modern Britain has been shaped.”
Commissioned by Catherine Catton, the EP is Dominique Walker, with Rosie Schellenberg as director and Emily Dance as producer. Transmission will be announced in due course.
