Radial Entertainment has renewed the true-crime series Hashtag Homicide, co-produced by BIG Media and WildBear Entertainment, for a second season.
The ten-episode season will continue exploring the intersections of social media and true crime.
“The cases explored in Hashtag Homicide can and do exist anywhere in the world,” said Danny Wilk, president of BIG Media. “The social media platforms are, unfortunately, rife with predators and scammers who hide behind fake profiles and false promises. This series has become such a hit with viewers because this kind of fraud has touched nearly everyone, directly or indirectly. We have been working with FilmRise, now Radial, for a number of years and are pleased to be moving into season two with them aboard again.”
Cristina Guggino, VP of originals and content partnerships at Radial Entertainment, added, “Hashtag Homicide examines how trust, obsession and manipulation play out online, with deadly consequences. BIG Media brings a sharp eye to these stories, and we’re pleased to continue our partnership for season two.”
Radial Entertainment previously acquired exclusive North American rights to season one. New episodes are now in production for a summer 2027 launch.
