Blue Ant Media has ordered four natural history series for its Love Nature brand, with Blue Ant Rights set to showcase the titles to buyers outside the commissioning territories at London TV Screenings.
“These new series reflect our global commissioning strategy of investing in compelling and unexpected natural history content that connects with audiences on our owned and operated linear and streaming channels,” said Alison Barrat, SVP and head of content for global channels and streaming at Blue Ant. “Leveraging Blue Ant’s integrated approach between our channels and rights businesses allows us to maximize the reach of our original commissions with third-party platform partners.”
Europe’s Wild Kingdoms is a two-parter from Le Cinquième Rêve, co-produced with ARTE. Aussie Snake Wranglers: Deadly Pursuit has been commissioned for a second season from Breakout Productions. WildBear Entertainment is making the six-episode Superbeast. Wild Germany was commissioned from Doclights as a two-parter.
