Blue Ant Media has secured a deal for the U.S. and international licensing rights to Rory Kennedy’s feature doc The Trial of Alec Baldwin.
A highlight of the company’s MIPCOM slate, the film follows Baldwin through the fallout from the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust in 2021.

It’s a globally recognized story that will resonate with viewers who want to look beyond the headlines and better understand this complex case.”

The film will have a limited theatrical run in the U.S. next month, distributed by Abramorama. The deal was negotiated by Valentina Daley, VP for acquisitions at Blue Ant Rights & Streaming.
