Cineflix Rights is on board to co-finance and produce Deep Water Secrets with Cream Productions in Canada, with the series landing a presale with Hearst Networks UK and EMEA.
The eight-part show uses cutting-edge technology and footage, plus interviews with scientists, historians, and other experts, to examine deep-sea creatures.
Cineflix Rights has also sealed a deal with Cream to take on worldwide distribution rights to the second season of An Optimist’s Guide to the Planet with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, a Canada-U.K. copro with Wildfire Television, in association with Bloomberg (US) and Bell Media (Canada), and Ill Kippers Aps. Cineflix Rights sold season one to Denmark, Finland, Australia, Iberia and Baltics, among other markets.
