After more than a decade, Deal or No Deal is returning to Germany, with Banijay Productions Germany producing a new adaptation for SAT.1.
Jörg Pilawa hosts the new German version of Deal or No Deal, which previously ran on SAT.1 from 2004 to 2008 and then in 2014/2015. The Banijay Entertainment format first launched in the Netherlands in 2002. More than 380 series have been produced across 84 territories.
The brand is currently present in 13 markets, with recent revivals in South Africa, the U.K., Mexico, Sweden, Argentina, the Philippines, and Turkey.
Production begins in Cologne this September for launch on SAT.1 in 2027.
